Nana Fofie is a 23-year-old singer / songwriter of Ghanaian descent, born in The Hague. Her first Afro mashup "Mad Over You" went viral and she has accumulated more than 11 million views on her YouTube channel. Her music on Spotify has over 10 million streams and with fans all over the world, the Rotterdam resident is starting to make herself known in the music world.
After the successful singles Odo, Bebe and International, Nana has released her debut EP RNBW. With popular tracks such as Sa Na Me Pe, Désolé and Afterparty on her EP, the talented singer is on her way to establish herself as one of the few emerging female 'Afro-European' artists.
Recently recognized by "The Queen" Nicki Minaj, she was invited to open up the Nicki World Tour in Ziggo Dome Amsterdam. Nicki Minaj also explicitly referred to Fofie in her radio show Queen Radio: "I don't know if she is Nigerian, but she is so fucking dope. I wish I had more time to play her music, because I hope to work with her someday. "
Nana has already collaborated with artists / producers such as Mr Eazi, HE3B and Reuben Isaac (electronic). With her unique mix of European and African inspirations, she has attracted the attention of large record labels and thereby confirms her incredible talent that is already foreseen.
